MFA Updating-New Phone or Number, Change MFA option
Employees can add or change Multi-factor and Recovery options at any time in Settings once logged into their SSO.
Choose one option: (see examples a,b,c). If locked out of your SSO Click Here.
Click your profile in the upper right-hand corner, your profile should be set to Staff 2FA (secure/relaxed), then click Settings. If it’s on Group, select Staff 2FA and your apps will reload. Choose Security
For multifactor options, locate “Security”
Mobile Authenticator users (who have access to their SSO) can add a new phone or device under “Security”. (If a saved device has exceeded 30 days and the user does not have access to the SSO, contact the Help Dek for assistance.)
Select Mobile Authenticator and click configure
Open the Google Authenticator app on your new device. This app cannot be transferred from your old phone. Delete and DOWNLOAD NEW GA APP. (Click on Get Started, Use Authenticator Without an Account then the Plus symbol and let the App download then open your camera.)
This is the only authenticator app approved for use by Conroe ISD.
Click Reset Authenticator. Scan your new QR code with app only, (DO NOT use your phone’s camera) enter your verification code, and click Save.
b. Mobile SMS (text message) users can delete and update phone numbers in BOTH “Recovery” and “Security”
Delete old phone number and add new number. Click Save. Your phone will receive a text message. Enter the code under Verification Code; then click submit.
c. Image users (this option is not available to all users) can click the current image for a full display of images, or those who wish to change their current MFA option to Image, if it is available to them.
