Canvas Studio Video Quizzing allows instructors, and TAs to create engaging learning experiences by adding questions to videos. This helps assess how well students understand the video content.

What You Can Do

  • Create and Embed Video Quizzes: Instructors and TAs can create video quizzes in Canvas and embed them into courses.

  • Interactive Learning: Students can take these embedded quizzes, receive feedback, and track their understanding of the material.

  • Quizzes must be created from your My Library page in Studio.

  • If a video quiz is edited after students have already taken it, the changes won’t apply to existing quizzes with submissions. However, new embeds will show the updated version.

    • Use the Search icon to find a specific media file or use the Sort By or Filter by options to organize your media.
