Upload Media Files to Canvas Studio
Uploading media files to Canvas Studio is simple and can be done directly from your device. You can either drag and drop files or use the Add Media option. Studio supports uploading individual files or multiple files at once. You can also add videos from YouTube and Vimeo via URL.
The maximum file size for a single upload is 10 GB.
Uploading Media from Your Device
To upload media files:
Drag and Drop: Simply drag the file from your computer and drop it into the My Library page.
Browse for Files: Click the Create drop-down menu, then select Add Media to browse and choose a file from your computer. You can upload multiple files at once, but note that ZIP files are not supported.
Supported Media Sources
In addition to files from your device, you can also upload videos from external sources:
YouTube or Vimeo: You can add media by pasting a URL from YouTube or Vimeo.
View Upload Progress
Once you start the upload, you can monitor the progress. After the upload completes, the media will appear in your My Library.
Managing Your Uploaded Media
After uploading, you can manage your media:
Share or Download: Use the More Options menu to share the media, download it, or get a transcript (if captions are enabled).
Playback Settings: Adjust playback speed and enable or disable comments from the Media Settings menu.
Edit and Manage: You can edit media details, view comments, check user insights, and add captions.
