Personalize Your Lesson Planner

KB image.png

You may have been given a basic lesson planner template, which appears automatically in each entry. You can customize this text, save your changes, and set it as your default so it will appear in future entries.

Best Practice Tips:

  • Avoid deleting days that already have lesson plans.

  • Don't click too far ahead into the future.

  • You'll need to update each entry individually.

Customize Your Lesson Planner Entry

  1. Click on the entry area to begin editing the text.

  2. Use the menu tools to adjust spacing, text size, color, indentation, and other formatting options as needed.

  3. Click the Save button on the menu bar to save your changes.

  4. Click the More Lesson Plan Options button on the Entry Toolbar.

  5. Select Set as Default Text for Entry to make this your default template for future entries.

For every new day in your planner, the updated template will apply only to the new entry.

For each new day in your planner, the updated template will only apply to that specific entry.

If some days in your calendar are bolded and not showing the new default template, it's because they were stamped with the old template. To update them, select Delete Today’s Plans to remove the old template, then apply the new one.

Be Cautious! Don’t delete days with existing plans.

If you've already added lessons to a day, you can move them to a future date that hasn't been stamped yet. Use copy/paste to transfer lessons, then click Delete Today's Plans to update the schedule. After the new schedule is applied, you can move the lessons back to the original date. Make sure both dates have the same courses in the schedule.
