Setting up Your Planner
Setting Up Your Planner in Eduphoria!
When you first log into Eduphoria!, the Setup My Planner wizard will guide you through creating your course schedule.
Scheduling Tips:
Keep it simple: Try to limit the number of schedules you create for easier use.
Elementary teachers: It's often best to use a single-day schedule (for subjects like Language Arts) because multiple schedules suggest different student groups.
Types of Schedule Entries:
You may add up to 12 entries in your schedule.
Course with Learning Standards: This is the most common entry type, used for subjects that track learning standards and activities.
Course That Mirrors Another Course in My Schedule: Used for repeating the same subject (like a course taught multiple times in a day). You can modify mirrored courses individually if needed.
A Special Entry: Used for non-academic activities like "Lunch," "Planning Period," or just general "Notes."
Schedule Items to Consider
You can adjust your schedule anytime without affecting existing lessons. Eduphoria! schedules are flexible and can be updated as needed.
Teaching the same subject multiple times a day?
Use mirrored courses to adjust one class without changing others. Alternatively, enter one lesson plan and add special entries for minor changes in other classes.Need to reflect different types of days?
For occasional special days (like assemblies), stick to one schedule unless it significantly impacts your lesson order.Have an A/B or block schedule?
Create schedule days that mirror your teaching structure to keep things organized.Collaborating with other teachers?
