The below documentation is only applicable to Transportation and Information Technology Employees

If you are using a Chromebook or other Chrome OS/Android based device and would like to connect to your RDS Workspace you need to first Install the RD Client from the Play Store.

  1. Log in to your device and launch the play store

  2. Select “Remote Desktop” from the available approved applications

  3. Click Install

  4. Launch “RD Client” from your Launcher

  5. Change the View Mode from “Phone” to “Resizable” in the top menu bar.

  6. Accept the terms and conditions

  7. Click Workspaces at the bottom, and then the plus in the top right.

  8. In the Add Workspace field, enter “https://remoteapp.conroeisd.net”. Do NOT enter your email address

  9. Click Next

  10. Enter your username with the employees\ prefix. (ex: employees\jsmith) and your Windows Password

  11. When asked if you want to save your password, choose never

  12. Click the application you wish to launch

  13. Select “Never ask again for connections to this PC” leaving the default options selected.

  14. Select “While using the app” when asked to record audio

  15. Enter your login info using the same as step 10.

  16. If prompted with a Certificate warning, select “Never ask again for connections to this PC”
