If you are working on a PC, open a new incognito window in your Google Chrome browser.
(This step is not possible on a Chromebook. Continue to next step if you are working on a Chromebook.)
Navigate to the CISD Single Sign-On Portal (SSO) and log in. https://launchpad.classlink.com/conroeisd
Before you enter Canvas, it is very important to Open Google Drive and confirm that your @studentmail.conroeisd.net account is signed in.
Go back to the CISD SSO Portal tab and now click on Canvas to open Canvas.
Click on Account > Click on Settings
Remove all Google Drive registered services and any Google Drive LTI approved integrations by selecting the delete icons.
Under Other Services, select Google Drive > Click on Authorize Google Drive Access > Click on your studentmail.conroeisd.net Google Drive account from the ‘Choose an account’ list > Click on Allow
In order to break any remaining connections to a personal account, you need to navigate to a course where the teacher has Google Drive in the course navigation menu. Click on Google Drive. Click on the x to close the file picker. Select Sign Out.
Click the Authorize button.
A pop-up window for the Google Drive LTI by Canvas log in will appear. Select your CISD student email account only! username@studentmail.conroeisd.net
If a personal account email appears here, remove it and type in your @studentmail@conroeisd.net email address.
Click Allow for Google Drive LTI by Canvas to access your CISD student Google Drive.
You can now navigate to your course with a Google Cloud Assignment and open the assignment to access and complete your work.
