How do I sign up for a Canvas account as a Parent?In order for a parent Canvas account to be created, you have to create a Parent Access Center (PAC) account using the primary email on the student's record. The user email for the PAC account and the primary email on the student’s record have to match. Once the PAC account is created, it will take 24-48 hours for a Canvas account to be created. The log in for the Canvas account will be the same user email and password that you will use for Parent Access Center. https://pac.conroeisd.net/
As long as you have an email address registered on file in the District’s Student Information System, you will automatically receive a Canvas Parent Account for any of your students who are in grades 3-12. To access your Canvas Parent Account, you will need to log in through the Conroe ISD Parent Portal. If you have not completed the registration for your Parent Portal Account, you can find the documentation here.

Click on the “Parents/Students” link and then click on “Canvas” which is listed under “Resources for Parents”

User Login : Enter the primary email address that you provided to the school that same email address should be your user email for logging in to Parent Access Center.
Password: Use the same password that you use for your Parent Access Account
(passwords for Canvas are case sensitive).

If an observer is missing a student from the Student Drop-down Menu, they need to contact the student’s campus. In order for a Canvas account to be created for the parent/guardian, the primary email for the parent/guardian on the student’s record and the Parent Access Center account email for the parent/guardian must match.
CISD employee emails (@conroeisd.net) cannot be used for PAC Parent Portal or parent/guardian primary contact email to gain access to parent Canvas accounts.
