Unless you have done an iCloud backup to use your old GA app, you will have to have your QR code reset by Help Desk after re-downloading the app and completing the below steps. This app CANNOT be transferred. |

Click on the Google authenticator app then click on Get started: |

If you get this message, click “Use Authenticator without an account”. Do DO NOT login with Google. |

We do not use a “Code” or have to Sign-In, now click the “+” Plus sign: |

Setup up app (your phone may ask for access to camera, say Yes)and click Scan QR code after it has been reset by Help Desk. |

DO NOT use your phone’s camera to scan the QR code.Â
You must be in the Authenticator app to scan the QR code.Â

Once your QR code has been reset and you use the app to scan it, you will see a new code under “ClassLink”.
You can find your new QR code the next time you login to your SSO.
These codes reset every 30 seconds when the app is open. If you need more time, you may wait for a new code to refresh.
